Forging Technical Breakthroughs

ENGINEERING

TECHNOLOGY1_edited.jpg

Our experienced engineering team specializes in structural, combustion, electrical, and mechanical design.

Utilizing the latest design software, including 3D simulation, CFD models, and thermal & structural software, allows our team to evaluate the design and installation details in advance.

From highlighting potential interference to helping the customer better understand our concepts, the benefits of these programs are endless.

SAFETY

Throughout our entire process, safety is of the utmost importance. Our industrial kilns meet the latest NFPA86 Standards for ovens and furnaces, and our team partakes in continuous safety training.

As a company, we are well versed in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) requirements. Focusing on safety compliance at all times results in process efficiency which allows our team and customers to avoid hazardous risks.

R&D PRACTICES

Engineering Tools

Focusing on research and development has allowed us to forge technical breakthroughs in the industries that we work with.

With our lab kilns located on-site, it allows our team to provide product testing for our customers while also assisting with curve/process development.

We operate both combustion and electrical labs, giving us the capability to test equipment for evaluation.

DYNA PULSE TECHNOLOGY

Swindell Dressler's Dyna Pulse™ combustion system is a digitally controlled firing system designed to provide maximum temperature uniformity and atmosphere control, while simultaneously consuming the least amount of fuel.  This system is designed to be operator-friendly, requiring minimal maintenance and adjustments.

The systems are applicable for our tunnel and periodic applications and can also be installed on existing kilns. The Dyna Pulse™ system provides better control, real fuel savings and a lower cost of ownership.

With the Dyna Pulse™ integrated control system, our customers can remotely monitor and control the kiln. This means that engineers and operators can view all relevant variables of firing and adjust as necessary if required without being at the facility.

The following are the major advantages of the Swindell Dressler Dyna Pulse™ system:

ENHANCED UNIFORMITY

LOW TEMPERATURE HOLD CAPABILITY

PROGRAMMED OXYGEN LEVELS

CONSISTENT & REPEATABLE RESULTS

DIGITALLY CONTROLLED RATIOS

ULTIMATE BURNER STABILITY

OUR PROCESS

At Swindell Dressler, we believe that process is contingent on design. In order to fully comprehend the unique requirements of each of our customers, our process starts with taking the time to understand critical aspects such as

  • Firing cycles

  • Total mass to be fired

  • Complete atmosphere requirements

Throughout the entire project, we collaborate with our customers to optimize product loading arrangements and methods, considering the required process uniformity specification and manufacturing logistics.

Based on the acquired information, our team then generates a detailed heat balance for the sizing of the system components and determines the optimal kiln geometry.

Our process ensures that we can continue to meet and exceed the changing needs of our customers by providing systems that:

MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS

ADHERE TO ALL CURVE SPECIFICATIONS
